40th Anniversary Day Proclamation

On September 10, the San Diego City Council presented the Friends of Los Peñasquitos Canyon Preserve with a proclamation recognizing the 40th Anniversary Day of our founding, September 14, 1984. Our board member Del Brooks was on hand to receive this proclamation from Council President Pro Tem Joe LaCava and Councilmember Kent Lee.

The City Council proclamation adds to the acknowledgments recently received from County Supervisor Terra Lawson Remer; Kent Lee from District 6; and San Diego’s Mayor Todd Gloria.
