Hike Lusardi Creek and Awhee Trail
This year the Coast to Crest Trail Challenge will include Lusardi Creek and Awhee Trail, on the west side of Black Mountain Open Space Park. You can find more information on the Challenge here. All hikes in the C2C challenge are self guided, ideal for social distanced times. wether you take the full C2C challenge or just want to take a stroll in the neighborhood Open Space, take a look at the restoration work done in the past 5 years around the Black Mountain Community Park trailhead. The project is coming along nicely and putting a substantial dent in the wild artichoke thistle population.
